I like the clouds

Sometimes without even a hint of a sound

Just a subtle movement

Sometimes a roaring thunder.

I break like shooting stars

By the time you watch me I'd be

dead for millions of years already.

I will make you a wish

and you might hope I will carry it with me.

I break like a pearl necklace around

someone's neck

Snapping and scattering all the truths on the floor

in front of them and freeing the neck.

I break like a voice breaks

when a person is about to cry.

I break, but some days the way you break

doesn't matter

Because some days there's no one

to watch the sky

Maybe your best friend is scared of thunders

or just doesn't like the rain

Somedays there's no one to collect the pearls

Somedays there's no one to make a wish

Somedays you will gather the courage to speak

despite the lump in your throat,

Somedays the voice breaks.

But there's no one to listen.
